Knock Out Roses

The Knock Out® Family of Roses are easy to grow and don’t require special care. Plant them individually among shrubs, annuals and perennials in mixed beds and borders. Plant them in large groups to create a colorful hedge or along a foundation to provide a bright border. For best performance, at Lakeview Nurseries we recommend cutting them back every year in early spring after the last threat of frost has passed.

Care of Knockout Roses

The Knock Out® roses are easy to grow, not requiring much care. They are also very disease resistant, too, which adds to their appeal. Their bloom cycle is about every five to six weeks. The knockout roses are known as “self-cleaning” roses, so there is no real need to deadhead them. Several knockout rose bushes blooming along a fence line or at the edge of an island landscaping is a beautiful sight to behold.
